Goddamn it, Greg!!! I told you went you left PierceSmoulder’s group that you should have used VOICE CHAT! Your jokes are too subtle and your sarcasm is not obvious enough to most people. Your messages are not properly communicated through written text! This is the second time you got flack from a group and I see something common in both incidents. Na, I’m just kidding. They just can’t take a joke. XDI’ve been ignoring asks about this for a while, as a courtesy or whatever, but it seems like a lot is being said about us, and I wanted to set the record straight.
We were going to collaborate with him on Rainbow Factory; Griffin even made a demo swing version of the Rainbow Factory song, since Flam hadn’t finalized what he wanted to do with that yet. Ultimately, the following two comments made us not want to work with him:
Also, I wanted to ask, does Jenny do a good Filch impression? Or rather, can she do a disgruntled, depressed homeless person who just happens to also drive a van full of kids to the Rainbow Factory? It was supposed to be Kelly’s character, but when I told her I was thinking of an English accent for the character, she flat out refused to do any voice acting. So I need a replacement Filch.
Also, he doesn’t HAVE to have an English accent. Don’t ask me why this has come to be a hurdle in the video’s production. I don’t try to understand the women in my life. I just enjoy their company.And
There is an interesting thing about being of the female gender. It’s that if you don’t choke on a dick at least once, then odds are you either aren’t trying very hard or you need a new boyfriend.
So… A) the recurring misogyny
B) the constant complaints about people on his team: editors, voice actors, etc. Some of them are real-life friends of his, some aren’t. All of them are volunteering their time to help with his pony web series for free and owe him nothing.
I’ve just read Flam’s response to this question. It’s interesting to see that despite our brief exchange (in which we were very clear about what had upset us), he’s convinced himself that the reason we dropped out is that we think pony parodies are ~serious business~, can’t take a joke, and hated him all along. He’d made some friendly-jokey insults about our series before all this, but those were jokes, and had nothing to do with it. The two reasons mentioned above are the issue here.
It’s not an ongoing feud. This all happened months ago. We called off the collab and don’t talk anymore. Until this post we haven’t said anything about him at all, publicly, ever.
